Nike is working with Olympic boxer Joshua Buatsi to create a bespoke Nike Training Camp in Buatsi’s home town of Croydon. Fifty young people from Croydon will be offered the chance to embark upon a bespoke 16-week Training Camp, free of charge, to obtain a Nike London Level 3 Personal Trainer qualification and take their first steps into the world of professional fitness.
This will be Nike’s only PT qualification in the world, and it is only being made available to young people living in the borough of Croydon. The programme is part of Nike’s commitment to making Croydon the epicentre of Training in London, to inspire young people in the area and create the next generation of passionate London based trainers and coaches.
The 16-week Training Camp will be hosted and delivered by four Nike Master Trainers, Coaches and Elite Athletes, including Nike Master Trainer Jamie Reynolds and Joshua Buatsi himself.
To apply to be a part of this free 16-week Nike Training Camp, applicants can sign-up now via the Nike website (https://www.nike.com/events-registration/series?id=4776&days=-1)
Entries close on the 10th December 2018 and final applicants will be notified on the 20th December 2018. The Nike Training Camp Croydon 16-week programme begins on the 11th January 2019 at the newly refurbished Croydon Boxing Academy.
