Champion And London Youth To Combat Negative Youth Stereotypes

By Tom Stutt / 27th November 2018

Giving Tuesday Campaign will see Champion produce a capsule line of T-shirts inspired by the power of words and how the negative labels used to describe young people can influence and determine their identity and behaviour.

Simply titled Champion London Youth, the campaign comes to life through a capsule collection of t-shirts, titled ’LABELS’, each inspired by the personal STORIES of five young people who have faced stereotyping and have overcome this with the help of their youth clubs and organisations, which are members of London Youth (londonyouth.org).

Renowned designer Tim Head has transformed the experiences of these young people into limited edition designs, which will be available for sale in Champion’s Soho store. In addition, retailer Urban Outfitters will be stocking the collection and like Champion, will be donating all profits to London Youth to help fund the charity’s arts, sports development, youth social action, employability and outdoor learning programmes.

The exclusive Champion London Youth collection launches on Giving Tuesday, the 27th November and is available to buy from Champion’s flagship store located at 48-50 Brewer Street, Soho. The collection will also be available to buy in Urban Outfitters across London and online at urbanoutfitters.com.
