The iconic 90’s ‘dad-shoe’ makes a sleek comeback with the all-new APEXTRON MESH W13, dropping on Friday, August 17th, 2018.
Both, smooth, and sport-inspired, the APEXTRON MESH W13 is a statement sneaker rooted in simplicity. As the newest addition to the ARKK arsenal, the APEXTRON is a deceptively uncomplicated sneaker with a voluminous silhouette and a full complement of precision details, including a hybrid mesh/leather upper, embroidered branding, and a perforated leather and velcro closure strap across the instep – all of which rides atop ARKK’s new WAVE13 sole unit, the brand’s chunkiest sole to date. Directly inspired by Den Blå Planet Aquarium in Denmark (designed by 3XN Architects), ARKK’s newest sole unit features curves that reflect the “whirling streams of the sea” alongside contrasting sharp, geometric lines. A feat of sculptural sneaker architecture, the new WAVE13 brings added cushioning and on-trend chunkiness to the APEXTRON silhouette.
While certainly inspired by the 90s ‘dad shoes’ of the past, the new ARKK APEXTRON signifies the Nordic sneaker brand is laser-focused on the future of the streetwear sneaker style, as they continue to challenge the status quo and push the limits of what a minimalist sneaker can be.
The APEXTRON sneaker has a smooth, voluminous WAVE13 sole unit, a perforated leather Velcro closure strap, mesh upper with leather trimmed details, embroidered ARKK branding.
The colourways are: Off White Silver Grey, Rust Off White, Black Off White.
The Price of the APEXTRON are $170 USD / €155 / £138 and are available in women and men’s sizes.
