Inspired by the all concurring Vaporfly Elite and Vaporfly 4% (worn by Nike’s Breaking2 athletes) and following feedback from Nike’s elite runners, the Pegasus Turbo features the same highly responsive and ZoomX foam and aerodynamic heel.
Thanks to revolutionary ZoomX technology, the Pegasus Turbo delivers the greatest energy return and helps provide a more comfortable ride during daily training runs. Nike athletes Eliud Kipchoge and Galen Rupp believe it’s what makes the shoes ideal for race day but also perfect for everyday use.
The ZoomX foam delivers 85% energy return, which is the greatest of any Nike foam. It is also Nike’s lightest foam (a single men’s size 10 shoe weighs in at 8.4 oz while a women’s 8 is 6.9 oz).
Is currently used in three silhouettes: the Zoom Vaporfly Elite and Zoom Vaporfly 4% and now the Zoom Pegasus Turbo.
The Nike Zoom Pegasus Turbo will be available to NikePlus members on Thursday 19th July and via Nike.com from 2nd August.
